Privacy notice

This notice explains how Vulnet Secure handles personal information collected through vulnetsecure.com. It applies to enquiries. A client engagement is covered by the contract and any data-processing terms agreed for that work.

Who we are

Vulnet Secure is the controller for information sent through this website. Contact: admin@vulnetsecure.com.

What we collect

The contact form collects your name, email address, company name, the type of test you are asking about, and your message. The site host also records technical logs, such as IP address and the time of the request, to keep the site running and to detect abuse.

Why we use it

We use enquiry information to reply, to decide whether we can do the work, and to prepare a scope. The lawful basis is legitimate interests in responding to a business enquiry, and steps taken before a contract if you ask us to proceed. We do not use this information for marketing unless you ask us to.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept in line with our data retention policy, which is written to meet UK GDPR. We keep an unanswered or declined enquiry for up to 12 months, then delete it. If the enquiry becomes an engagement, we keep the related correspondence for the life of the contract and for up to six years afterwards, for legal and insurance purposes. Server logs are kept for a shorter operational period set by the host.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. Mail is held in our Microsoft 365 mailbox. The website is hosted by IONOS. Those providers process information only so we can receive and answer the enquiry. We do not transfer enquiry data outside the UK or the EEA unless the provider’s own terms already cover that transfer with an appropriate safeguard.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, delete it, or restrict how we use it, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. We will respond within one month. Email admin@vulnetsecure.com.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would like the chance to put something right first.

Changes

We will update this page if the way we handle enquiries changes. This notice was published on 7 October 2026.
